<h2>M&amp;P SHIELD® EZ® PISTOL IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FOR PISTOLS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN MARCH 1ST, 2020 AND OCTOBER 31ST, 2020</h2>
Smith &amp; Wesson has identified two M&amp;P Shield EZ Pistols on which the hammers manufactured by our supplier were cracked.&nbsp; In those firearms, the hammer failed to fully engage the sear, causing the round to fire, cycling the slide, and potentially resulting in multiple discharges without depressing the trigger.&nbsp; This issue can occur in the following two scenarios:
<ol>
 <li>With a loaded magazine in the firearm and the grip safety depressed, releasing the slide (by pulling it back, or releasing the slide stop), may ignite the round as the slide closes, without engaging the trigger.&nbsp; The condition may occur, regardless of the manual thumb safety position if equipped.&nbsp; This may also result in multiple discharges.</li>
 <li>With a loaded magazine in the firearm, the grip safety depressed, manual safety in the fire position, slide closed, and a round in the chamber, pulling the trigger will cause the round to fire normally, however as the slide cycles, the next round may be ignited as it is chambered by the hammer failing to fully engage the sear, causing multiple discharges.</li>
</ol>
In all cases, the firearm will NOT fire unless the grip safety is depressed.&nbsp; While this condition has been found only in two hammers, and our investigation suggests that these two incidents are very isolated, any unintended discharge of a firearm has the potential to cause injury.&nbsp; Therefore, we have established this Safety Recall as a precautionary measure&nbsp;to ensure that all M&amp;P Shield EZ Pistols in service meet our design specifications.&nbsp;
Stop using your M&amp;P® Shield™ EZ pistol until you determine whether it is included in this safety recall, and if so, until it has been inspected and repaired by Smith &amp; Wesson, if necessary.
<h3>PRODUCT AFFECTED:</h3>
This notice applies ONLY to M&amp;P® Shield™ EZ pistols (including Performance Center® models) manufactured between March 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020, and only to a small percentage of that population. It does NOT apply to all SHIELD™ pistols.&nbsp; To determine whether your M&amp;P Shield EZ Pistol is affected, check the label on the box to determine date of manufacture (see image below), and if manufacture date is between March 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020 – your pistol may be affected. An out of battery discharge could potentially rupture an unsupported case, venting gas through the magazine well and upper receiver, and possibly fracturing a portion of the receiver. This safety recall notice applies to the&nbsp;limited edition model 329 revolver manufactured at the Smith &amp; Wesson performance center. This safety recall notice applies to 270 revolvers manufactured at the performance center bearing serial numbers - ranging from&nbsp;BVA0004 to BVA0210 and DEW0001 to DEW0099.It has been determined that damage to the frame may have occurred during assembly of the single piece barrel. As a result, there exists the possibility that the revolver may rupture during firing, causing a failure of the firearm and creating a risk of personal injury.You should immediately stop using the revolver and return it to Smith &amp; Wesson. Upon return Smith &amp; Wesson will issue a refund or a credit towards the purchase of a replacement firearm.To determine if your revolver is subject to this safety recall notice, please check the serial number. PPK SAFETY RECALL

Smith & Wesson is committed to producing firearms of the highest quality. To accomplish this goal, we are constantly evaluating and monitoring the safety, reliability and performance of our products. As part of this ongoing evaluation process, we have received reports, in an extremely small number of cases, that the firing pin safety plunger of the SW1911 pistol can become disabled, creating a situation where the slide may jam and render the firearm inoperable. This only pertains to certain Smith & Wesson Model SW1911 pistols bearing serial numbers JRD0000 to JRD4750.
To date, none of these cases have resulted in any injury, and Smith & Wesson has not received any reports of any accidental discharge associated with the functioning of the firing pin safety plunger. While the company has not received any reports of injury, a failure of the firing pin safety plunger may affect the reliability and safety of your firearm. Therefore, given our commitment to quality and safety, we are initiating this recall campaign, and we are offering to repair, free of charge, any affected SW1911 pistol.

M&P SHIELD CONSUMER SAFETY ALERT

IMPORTANT! M&amp;P15-22 CONSUMER SAFETY ALERT AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE DESCRIPTION - Please Read This If You Have A M&amp;P15-22 Rimfire Firearm. PRODUCT AFFECTED: ALL models of M&amp;P15-22 rifles and pistols manufactured before February 1, 2019. STOP USING YOUR M&amp;P15-22 UNTIL IT HAS BEEN INSPECTED AND YOUR BOLT REPLACED (IF NECESSARY). Smith &amp; Wesson has identified two M&amp;P15-22 firearms from recent production on which the breech face counter bore depth was not within manufacturing specification. In those firearms, the lack of depth may allow the bolt, upon closing, to crush the rim of the case, causing the round to fire, cycling the bolt, and potentially resulting in multiple discharges without depressing the trigger. This issue can occur in the following two scenarios: 1)&nbsp;With a loaded magazine in the firearm and the bolt locked to the rear, depressing the bolt release to allow the bolt to drop freely may ignite the round as the bolt closes without engaging the trigger and with the safety selector in either the safe or the fire position, and may also result in multiple discharges. 2)&nbsp;With a loaded magazine in the firearm, bolt in the closed position and a round in the chamber and the safety selector in the fire position, depressing the trigger will cause the round to fire normally, however as the bolt cycles, the next round may be ignited by the bolt crushing the rim of the case as it closes, causing multiple discharges. We believe that these are isolated incidents, however, any unintended discharge of a firearm has the potential to cause injury. Therefore, we have developed this inspection procedure to ensure that all products in the field are safe to use. We are asking customers to perform the following procedure and to refrain from using their M&amp;P15-22 until the bolt has been inspected and replaced as necessary.DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT INVOLVED: The out of specification condition has been found only in bolts that were recently manufactured.
